Jersey Shore Pharmacy is proud to present our Med Box Program. We are now providing a new service to help patients with medication compliance. Jersey Shore Pharmacy will fill medication boxes for patients so that it will be easier for patients to take their medication and easier for patient's families or health care providers to monitor compliance. 

   Med boxes will be filled on a weekly basis and will be delivered every Wednesday for the following week. Our delivery driver can deliver within our delivery area, the newly filled med box and pick up the med box to be returned to the pharmacy.  If delivery is not required  the patient or the responsible party may pick up and return the med box if so desired. 

     All maintenance medications including over-the-counter medications ordered by physicians will be placed in the med box.  Any medications that are taken on an "as needed" basis will not be placed in the med box.

     The fee for the Med Box Program is $50.00 per month.  This cost is not covered by insurance.  There is a one time start up fee of $10.00  for the med boxes (most people will need 2 boxes which cost about $5.00 each). There are no extra charges for the delivery of med boxes to patients home.
